He also has more than 20 years of experience in corporate and business environment as the Head of Division with an annual sales turnover of more than USD 25 million with staff more than 100 in Singapore and Malaysia before deciding to dedicate his life fully to his passion in human being and well-being. As such, he could comprehend and appreciate how frantic, unpredictable, volatile and ambiguous working life could be and how mindfulness can be the solution to it. 


He is also the author of the highly acclaimed book, "Parenting 2.0 - raising a respectful, responsible, resilient and resourceful child in the digital age", integrating mindfulness practices into parenting.

​TY is now a fully accredited Mindfulness Teacher by UK Breathworks for the teaching of Mindfulness for Stress and Mindfulness for Health (Pain Management) Course, the first in South East Asia. . He supports and empowers clients in making life transformation through mindfulness.  He is the founding director, mindfulness based psychotherapist and clinical hypnotherapist at Pantai Hospital Kuala Lumpur, as well as lectures at a the London College of Clinical Hypnosis Asia at the advance practitioner diploma level as Senior Lecturer. 



PETRINA EGER 

Petrina Eger is the Mindfulness Program Coordinator at Taylor’s University and also an Emotional Intelligence trainer. She’s certified with the UK Mindfulness in Schools Project and is on the senior trainer program for UK Breathworks to help people manage stress and anxiety. She studied mindfulness in the UK, Australia, Myanmar, Thailand and Malaysia. She specializes in teaching mindfulness for benefits including enhancing focus and concentration, better emotional well-being and improved health. She also has a certificate in hypnotherapy from the London College of Clinical Hypnotherapy, as well as a Level 2 Reiki Practitioner certification. 


Previously, she worked as an environmental engineer and educator in the US, including conducting research projects with several universities and the National Science Foundation.
